As we move into Fall and closer to Winter, the weather changes can be unpredictable for those who are experiencing homelessness. Hot days and cold nights can cause harm to the body and stress on their mind as they struggle to find a safe place to stay and their next meal.
Immanuel came to Sunday Breakfast after being laid off from his job looking for shelter and a meal. What started as one meal turned into Immanuel finding new hope and purpose in life. He began volunteering at the Mission working in the kitchen and serving meals to other guests. He soon realized his new purpose was to prepare and serve meals to others in need.
Immanuel’s journey all started with a meal. One meal can change someone's life.
