BIG WIN - JUDGE REVERSES PURDUE/SACKLER DECISION
What is next?

Before we tell you about this week's episode, we wanted to alert you to some help that is needed in the Purdue Pharma/Sackler Family litigation. The Sackler family can NOT be allowed to walk away from the deaths they caused without criminal prosecution.

Your help is needed to write the Department of Justice: Merrick Garland and Lisa Monaco regarding two short actions.

  1. Write in support of Judge McMahon’s decision that the plan confirmation of the Purdue bankruptcy should be stopped so that Sackler releases are abolished; that the guilty Sacklers are held accountable; that more equitable claimant filing opportunities are available; and more opioid money is put in the pot for distribution.
  2. Ask that the DOJ does it’s job by abandoning the 2020 deal (which automatically ends if Sacklers don’t pay up); and filing criminal charges against the Sacklers.
