The Countdown is on for #GIVINGTUESDAY! With the holidays quickly approaching, we have much to look forward to! After Thanksgiving, many Americans partake in Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, CyberMonday.... but do you plan on participating in #GIVINGTUESDAY? This year MDC will be doing a #ReverseTheStatstic Campaign on Giving Tuesday in hopes to educate individuals on the impact substance abuse is having on our community. MDC will be sharing statistics and, in turn, asking for that same number in a donation amount towards drug prevention efforts to help reverse the statistic.See examples below.   Like many small nonprofits, Metro Drug Coalition's success is due largely to the generosity of its donors, donors like you! WFS Statement #12 breathes life into me with empowering ideas. It states that “I am a competent woman.” I needed this healthy encouragement daily as I was beginning my New Life, sometimes I needed to say it a hundred times a day. I began to feel my self-worth returning, as well as feelings of value.
