We’ll never know.” Margot Head and Bill Williams tragically lost their son, Will, to an overdose in 2012. They, like millions of families, struggled to get insurance coverage for treatment. And those same families, at a time of crisis, are uncertain of their rights and coverage available to them under the 2008 Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act. We need your help to ensure that families do not suffer the same heartbreaking loss as the Williams family. Families are being denied coverage, including medication for treatment and individualized care, which they are entitled to under the law.
