Victorious Living: A Vessel of Hope

Victorious Living is a Vessel of Hope!

I love the fact that while I am sitting here watching the rain pour down outside my window, that Victorious Living Magazine is reaching someone with the hope of Jesus. Right now, God is placing Victorious Living Magazine in someone's path, reminding them that all is not lost and that, He is the Way Maker!

If you haven't already, you should receive your personal copy of Issue 3 of VL Magazine this week (if you are our financial partner). You can also view it digitally by clicking here.

Everyday we receive testimonies sharing how God used Victorious Living to be a vessel of hope. On Sunday, Mr. Pat Avery, our partner care director, heard about the impact of Victorious Living from a man he met in Tampa, Florida.

Pat saw a man walking and felt led to give him a ride home. During the ride, the man explained how he was trying to turn his life around after being in prison three times. Recognizing the opportunity before him, Pat encouraged the man and when they reached the their destination, Pat gave him a past copy of Victorious Living.

Pat said that the man's eyes sparked with hope as he clutched the magazine to his chest. It was like he'd given the man a large sum of money. The man then proceeded to tell Pat how Victorious Living had encouraged him while he was in prison. You have no idea how this testimony encouraged Pat and me.

This reminds me of the man who knocked on my car window at a Chick-fil-A restaurant one day. He wanted to know if I was with Victorious Living and shared how the magazine had changed his life.

I could give so many testimonies of people who have approached us in various parts of the country sharing how God used VL to save their lives. We have over 10,000 written testimonies! Many people share how they were about to commit suicide when they found the magazine.

This magazine is more than just good stories. It is a vessel of hope that God uses to extend His hand of hope to a lost and dying world, especially behind prison walls. And His hope saves lives.

We all need hope.

Ephesians 2:12 says those who live in this world without God live without hope. And that is so true for many behind prison walls. Thank you for helping us send in the vessel of hope God has entrusted to us into prisons nationwide.

Every week we add more facilities to our shipping manifest. This is wonderful news and we praise God! We are committed to send Victorious Living to every facility that requests it.

But, the reality is, each facility we add comes with a cost to the ministry of $500. In addition, printing costs are continually increasing due to shortages caused by COVID and other issues. We are experiencing our third increase this year.

If you haven't partnered with us in some time, will you consider sending a love gift to help us offset some of these unexpected cost? Perhaps you will consider becoming a monthly partner? We need your support to continue to deliver this vessel of hope and source of connection.

Sincerely,

Kristiblack-1
