Christians in Recovery® Thought, Scripture, Prayer & Updates

Recovery Thought:
...Choose to see beyond life's storms, to uncover the blessings that the rain brings.
~Michelle Sedas
1 Peter 1:6
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
† Recovery Prayer †
Father,
I choose to see beyond my hardships knowing that the storms of life uncover blessings and strengthen my faith. May I use these storms as stepping stones to higher things.
Amen.
