BEST OF THE QUICK FIX
COMMENT OF THE WEEK
Trials and Tribulations
This week, Jonita Davis wrote about a new approach to fixing addiction: illuminating certain neurons in the brain to weaken the pathways responsible for drug cravings. Some readers warned others to manage their expectations about the likelihood of such treatments taking off anytime soon.

While promising, keep in mind that this treatment will involve brain surgery and the introduction of recombinant viruses - essentially gene therapy in the human brain. While I strongly believe such a treatment can be effective, gene therapy clinical trials are extremely difficult to get approval for.

10-9-17 TWELVE STEPPING WITH SUPPORT FROM SCRIPTURE

Psalm 77 v 4 -You hold my eyelids open, I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

Step 1: We admitted we were powerless over chemical substances—that our lives had become unmanageable.

Even in the midst of your deepest suffering, God is with you. God is your creator and the very breath you breathe comes from Him. Gods Heartbreaks when His children suffer! Life was never meant to live without Him.He is waiting patiently for you to ask Him for help.When you do your Life will change!

Ephesians 4: 18 - being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;
