UPDATE: At-risk families still need food in Chester

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, you can give vulnerable neighbors food and hope

CITYTEAM. Igniting Hope. Restoring Lives.

Help a vulnerable family get through the COVID-19 crisis
Dear Joseph,
Across our community, we’re seeing growing needs in the wake of COVID-19. These needs will likely not subside due to the financial impact on our vulnerable neighbors who have lost jobs and at-risk families who already were struggling to make ends meet.
That’s especially true for families CityTeam was serving before the pandemic hit. They were already at risk. But since the shelter in place orders last month, they’re more vulnerable than ever.
Many have lost jobs, are having trouble putting food on the table, or are in declining health. As hardships multiply, people are becoming increasingly distressed.
That’s why, with so many compassionate and generous people in our community, we must continue working together to help struggling families get the help they need to make it through this challenging time.

There’s no better time to show a local family in need that you care

Alejandra’s family is just one that received help at CityTeam.
She told us, “We are a family of six, including four kids ages 17, 11, 9, and 2. We were having a hard time putting food on our table and dressing our growing kids.”
“Going through these hardships made me feel vulnerable and useless. But thanks to your help, I feel empowered. Through your outreach, my family was blessed with food and clothing.”
Won’t you help today? Through your gift now, you’ll make it possible to continue, and even expand, this outreach. Please give now to provide even more families in crisis with groceries and other emergency supplies.
Thanks in advance for your care and compassion. And God bless you!
