Your chance to run the TCS New York City Marathon

2019 TCS NYC Marathon
Dear Joseph,

This is your chance to run the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon with Center on Addiction | Partnership for Drug-Free Kids as a Partner for Hope!

As the captain of last year’s Partners for Hope Team, it was a privilege for me to get to know our runners and to race alongside them for such a meaningful cause. Every dollar raised enabled us to offer even more resources and support for families struggling with a loved one’s substance use.

For me, running the marathon as a Partner for Hope was a way for me to honor my friend who passed away over a year ago. She was only 19 years old. We ran track and field together, and she was always the first person to hug me after every race. Her face was in my mind for each step of the marathon, and the experience was one I will never forget.

Whether you have a connection to our cause or not, I encourage you to consider racing the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon for Center on Addiction | Partnership for Drug-Free Kids. Our runners will be asked to meet a fundraising minimum of $3,500 to receive guaranteed entry and fundraising support. If you entered the official drawing and did not receive an entry, we would love to be your ticket to the race. This is your opportunity to make a memory that will stick with you always, and in the process, you will support our mission to transform how the nation addresses addiction.

If you’re not a runner, there are still many other ways you can get involved and support our Partners for Hope team. And we would love to see you on race day to help us cheer them on.

The bracelet I always wear to remember my friend says “Finish the Race.”We hope you’ll finish it with us.

Apply to run as a Partner for Hope

Sincerely,

Amy Garcia signature

shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
