FacebookLinkedInTwitter
NAADAC's Executive Director, Cynthia Moreno Tuohy, was invited to speak at the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) National Stakeholder Meeting on July 11, 2018. The meeting brought together stakeholders from both public and private sectors to discuss expanding screening, access to treatment, and adoption of evidence-based practices.

Moreno Tuohy spoke about why building national credentials for transportability through the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals (NCC AP) and building a sustainable workforce is in the best interest of both the addiction professionals and those they serve.

"It was exciting to present at ONDCP to many national organizations regarding NAADAC’s initiatives," said Moreno Tuohy. "It was also an honor to meet the ONDCP Deputy Director, Jim Carroll, and I look forward to another meeting in the near future."
