MCRCC July Happenings!

July Highlights
Starting July 13th, we are beginning a program called Tackle It Tuesday where we help our participants obtain tangible goals that will assist them in their recovery. Examples include trips to the food pantry, PennDOT, Social Security and to our center for Open Access. Transportation can be provided for our registered participants. For more information on Tackle It Tuesday, contact Nicky Adams, CRS, at 610-675-4200.
The MCRCC is starting up Wellness Wednesdays, where we provide peer-based support focused on wellness in recovery - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Join us this month for Guided Meditation followed by Refresh and Recover where together we prepare a healthy dish and talk about our recovery wellness goals.

You Can Join Us Virtually!
Play your round anytime between August 1–21, fill out the Virtual Score Submission Form, harmonyfoundationinc.com/golfscore, and submit!

Each virtual player will receive a goody bag by mail, just as if you had played in person at the Estes Park 18-Hole Course.

We will have separate prizes for the winners of the virtual golf tourney who will be announced at the live in-person event on August 23rd, 2021.


All proceeds go to the Veteran Scholarship Fund at Harmony to help Veterans receive the treatment they need and deserve.

WFS Is Seeking a Volunteer Coordinator

 

This is a part time (20 hours/week) Volunteer Coordinator position. The Volunteer Coordinator assists in the recruitment, screening, training, placement, appreciation, and management of organizational volunteers. This position works closely with WFS staff, the Volunteer Empowerment Team, and the leaders of all WFS Teams.

We serve an extremely diverse, worldwide population and have volunteers spanning the globe, so unusual hours to attend meetings and conduct telephonic screenings and follow-up are frequently required.

WFS is committed to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion to create a welcoming community that celebrates all who are in pursuit of recovery. Applicants with diverse backgrounds and identities are encouraged to apply.
