Crossroads Career & Program News May 2021

May 2021
Wishing you all a very happy and healthy Memorial Day holiday. We're grateful to be able to continue serving men and women throughout Maine and New England with our residential and outpatient treatment programs. On May 24th we welcomed back our clients into the Greater Portland Counseling Center for in person counseling in our eating disorders intensive outpatient program. It's almost like we've not been a part for 12 months. We're most proud of the fact that all of our staff have stepped up to meet the needs of our clients in treatment and are being incredibly patient while we continue to build our teams. We have career opportunities - including management positions - available. Please see below. Let's remember this Monday to celebrate, honor and remember all who give back to our communities.
Beth Caron, LCSW, CCS
Director of Residential Programs

Since 2014, Beth has been in integral member of our leadership team at Crossroads. In her role as Director of Residential Programs, Beth is responsible for the clinical operations of our residential programs and oversees the program managers and their staff. Beth also serves as the primary liaison to the executive team for clinical outcomes and also provides clinical guidance to the admissions team to assist with admitting clients into our residential programs.
Management Position in Admissions

We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead our admissions department. This is a full time leadership role with complete oversight of the admissions process for all of Crossroads' programs. Please contact our Director of Human Resources, Nicole Federico to learn more about our current career opportunities. You can email Nicole or call her at 207.773.9931 X 105.
Children and Mothers Program (CAMP)
The children and mothers residential program is a specially designed rehab for women with children. This residential treatment program for pregnant and postpartum mothers doesn’t leave children out of the parent’s recovery journey.

A major concern of women seeking addiction treatment is often their children. They worry about being away from them or who will care for them while they are in treatment. The children and mothers residential program is unlike traditional programs. It encompasses childcare, parenting education and related services. Pregnant and postpartum mothers keep their children close and learn how to more effectively care for them as they work on their own recovery while creating a healthier lifestyle.

This primary residential treatment program is for adult women ages 18 and up and can accommodate 16 clients. There is a separate wing for the women coming into the program with their children and we have a licensed onsite daycare that is exclusively for our clients. We have dedicated master's level clinicians, a registered dietitian and a truly compassionate daycare director who embraces all clients and children. If you know of someone in need of these services, please contact our admissions department for more information. 207.773.9931.
All three of our clinical programs are located in Southern Maine. In Portland, we have our Back Cove Women's Residential Program. The Greater Portland Counseling Center is conveniently located in Scarborough and our Children and Mothers Program (CAMP) in Windham.
