Free Contemplating Recovery Virtual Support Groups this Saturday!

Saturday June 13th 11:00 am & 12:30 pm

With BALANCE Admissions Coordinator Tamar Lichtman, LMSW

BALANCE eating disorder treatment center™ is proud to offer a free support group for those contemplating some form of treatment for concerns related to eating, food and body image.

The group provides a supportive forum within which members can explore issues including ambivalence about engaging in treatment, recovery, resources and treatment options and knowing when and how to take the next steps towards making change.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all Contemplating Recovery Groups will occur virtually. We are also increasing the amount of Contemplating Recovery groups we are offering each month to provide support to those who may be struggling during this time.

The group is open to individuals seeking help and to family and loved ones.

Here are the group times for this Saturday:

June 13th, 11:00 am & 12:30 pm

With BALANCE Admissions Coordinator Tamar Lichtman, LMSW

GOD LOVES THE UNDERDOG | The Most INTENSE Video of 2020

Brave Teens, College Auditions, Virtual 5K and more

Announcing Brave Teens Daily Video Diary Series
A collaboration with WETA Public Media in Washington, D.C.
This Is My Brave is thrilled to collaborate with WETA on Brave Teens, as part of their recently launched Well Beings initiative.

The Brave Teens video diary series is a first-of-its-kind digital community of This Is My Brave teen storytellers who are going on the record about their mental health journeys.

With their schools abruptly closed, graduations and proms cancelled, and college plans up in the air, teens are increasingly—and understandably—overwhelmed.

Brave Teens seeks to break down stigma and help young people struggling with mental health challenges. The series is co-produced by WETA and Principle Pictures, and features This Is My Brave teen storytellers.
