Dear Joseph,

We have seen a number of important actions on the opioid epidemic in the last two weeks. Last Thursday, the President Trump declared a public health emergency, followed by the President’s Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisisreleasing its comprehensive report of critical recommendations this week. These are both important steps in the right direction. But if we are going to see any progress on the opioid crisis, we need more resources – and that, unfortunately, remains uncertain.

Families are turning to the Partnership for help and we need your support. With 144 people dying every day in drug-overdose related deaths, 91 of which are directly related to opioids, nothing is more overwhelming than having a child who is struggling with addiction.

A gift of just $100 allows our Parent Helpline counselors to connect with four parents seeking help for their child’s substance use. Make your gift today to ensure that every family can continue to be empowered by and have access to our free resources, tools and one-on-one support.

The timing to make an impact has never been more critical, so thank you for helping us be a lifeline for families, change the conversation and inspire hope for the future.

With gratitude,

Fred Muench, Ph.D.

11-8-17 TWELVE STEPPING WITH SUPPORT FROM SCRIPTURE

Proverb 1v 24 - I called you so often, but you wouldn't come.I reached out to you, but you paid no attention.

Step 2 -Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

There is but one power and that is God the creator of Heaven, Earth, and you! Whether you realize it or not God is calling you and has been since the day you were Born. Find a quiet place if you can and really think back as far as you can! Under your Breath ask God to help you remember when He called you! I guarantee He will show you, and then gently remind you of that time you were invited to church and you said no, or someone was trying to hand you a pamphlet outside of a convenience store and you threw it on the ground out of disgust.Through Nature, He calls us like the warmth of the Sun on our faces or the cool breeze out of nowhere on a blistering hot day. There is no excuse He is everywhere all the time. God loves you and desires a relationship with you.For those of you who think your not worthy or you have been too bad, that's a lie from the enemy of your soul. If you could see into the spiritual world you would see a Hand reaching down from Heaven wide open and waiting for you to grab hold and be held. You're a special treasure to God and He misses you, He has a lot of love to Give and He wants to give it to you.

Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

Dear Joseph,

I'm so excited to invite you to the VERY FIRST Sober Mom's Guide to Recoverywebinar!

I really hope you'll join me because I have a lot of inspiring and practical information that will help you.

Do you struggle with guilt, shame, loneliness, and stress from all the overwhelming responsibilities of motherhood?

These are the key issues that I’ve seen over and over again during my 18 years of my personal and professional life in recovery.

I’ve seen it in moms who are struggling to get sober and moms who have many years of sobriety.

I truly believe if guilt, shame, loneliness and stress are not addressed, moms either relapse or live a miserable life even though they are sober. Who gets sober and wants to be miserable???

Learning how to overcome these issues are the building blocks to creating a beautiful life in recovery where anything is possible.

Here's what we'll be covering in my free webinar:
  • How I went from an out-of-control alcoholic mom of three children to finding a life of peace, happiness, and wholeness in recovery.

  • How I learned to overcome the devastating impact of guilt, shame, and stress.

  • Key steps I took in learning how to live a sober, healthy life.
My goal is to offer you help, hope, and happiness to lead an amazing life you deserve.

I can't wait for you to join me! Please reserve your FREE spot today!

Take good care of yourself,

Rosemary
