Pat Deegan's Newsletter

Hi Friends,
These are scary times and, like you, I am working hard to adapt. I've experienced some lovely moments of grace, though. There is something deeply moving about being in the midst of a global pandemic, while spring flowers are inching up through the thawing dirt.

It's new life arriving in the midst of it all. I find solace and inspiration in that.
We keep on trucking here at PDA. We are grateful we can continue to make our offerings available via the web. Check out what we've been up to.
Hoping you and your family remain safe and healthy - Pat

Two powerful tools combined for one transformative experience.

We've combined Recovery Library (and its thousands of recovery-oriented resources) with the power of Academy. Academy's e-learning courses and real-world practice help staff get the most out of Library while learning how to effectively deliver recovery-oriented care.

Academy

Transfer learning into practice.
Academy includes coaching in the CommonGround Program, e-learning courses, consultation with CommonGround experts, real-world practice and personalized feedback.

Recovery Library

The Hope. The Tools. The inspiration to recover after a diagnosis of mental illness.
Recovery Library offers thousands of resources to support recovery. Available for individuals and programs.

Personal Medicine for Worry

In an effort to be helpful, I've made all my Personal Medicine Cards for Worry available over on my website. Check out my Facebook video, or head on over and download them (available in English and Spanish).

Casey and Monica
No Fear in Love

In a time of technological growth and dependency, the emphasis on personal relationships can often be dulled or forgotten. But God has always intended for us to connect with one another as a reflection of our personal relationship with Him. For Monica and Casey, who both found redemption and new life in Christ, their marriage to one another has echoed the bond they formed individually with the Lord.

Having been through the recovery program at His Mansion, both Monica and Casey served as Servant Leaders beginning in the spring of 2015 until they married in August of 2016. Not only did completing the program help them stop abusing drugs and alcohol, it also provided them important relational skills.
