Presented by Fifth Third Bank, proceeds from this event benefit Talbert House's mission of empowering children, adults and families to live healthy, safe and productive lives.  This year we are excited to be back in person but we will also continue offering curbside pickup on Friday. REGISTER NOW FRIDAY, JUNE 24th: GRATITUDE MEETING 6:30 pm    Gratitude Meeting on Campus (under the Big Tent) 7:30 pm    Pizza and Fellowship  SATURDAY, JUNE 25th: ALUMNI AND FAMILY REUNION 8:30 am      Registration opens – Attendees will receive a schedule and map at check-in 9:00 am      Memorial Service led by Rev. David Shares His Story

When David came to Sunday Breakfast, he was at a low point: living on the streets and struggling with addiction. David hated how his addiction made him feel and how it made him act. He knew that he couldn’t survive much longer if something didn’t change. He wanted to get clean. David came to Sunday Breakfast looking for help. Finding a path out of addiction is never easy, but at the Mission, he no longer had to go it alone. CJ Bauers, Sunday Breakfast’s Homeless Services Case Manager, found David a place at Baltimore’s Helping Up Mission’s (HUM) Spiritual Recovery Program, a collaboration with HUM and local hospitals and mental health providers, which helped him recover. Now, David is building a new  life for himself. Once he finishes the program at HUM, he wants to come back to Sunday Breakfast to complete our NEXT Level Program and work towards self-sufficiency. He also plans to go back to school and to become a peer support counselor for others who struggle with addiction. “Now that I am getting sober, I can dream again,” David said.  There is hope for men who, like David, are struggling with addiction and homelessness, if we can help them to make changes in their lives. We wouldn’t be able to provide the help people like David need without your support. Donors like you are the reason we can continue our mission of helping the hungry, homeless, and hurting. If you’re able to, please consider making a donation today to help people like David find better futures.  Our Mission Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission exists to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the homeless and disadvantaged in the Philadelphia area.
