What does homelessness have to do with it? Email #2

We provide housing and supportive services to men, women, and children affected by chemical dependency and domestic violence. Many of our residents have experienced homelessness, either as a cause or consequence of chemical dependency or domestic violence.

Homelessness is a growing issue in Minnesota, exacerbated by a severe lack of affordable housing. Our residents call Missions Inc. home for anywhere from one night to two years.

Residents receive the support, stability, and resources they need to obtain safety and healing and to pursue justice in their lives.

Our residents are doing the hardest and most important work of all, bravely facing the challenges that lie ahead, taking control of their lives and finding hope for the future.

We believe that Recovery is Real...and Begins at Mariners Inn.

Please join us in recognizing some recovery milestones and consider giving to Mariners Inn this month to help others reach their recovery milestones and join us on our journey to help save lives.

"One of the things I try to get across to my clients so I can help them understand that I identify with their problems is that I try to tell them that I build others up because I know how it feels to be torn down."
