What's Happened This June at Sunday Breakfast

The Sixers Game 4 Private Watch Party

In March, Joel Embiid donated $100,000 to Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, with the Sixers organization matching his donation. Embiid continued his generosity by funding a private game 4 NBA playoff watch party for the guests at Sunday Breakfast!
Our guests enjoyed a night of food and ice cream, music played by a live DJ, and 76ers' t-shirts, towels, and posters. There were games, a drumline, and a personal message from Embiid himself to the guests playing on a large flat-screen TV.
We are so thankful for the support and generosity the 76ers organization has shown us. Thank you everyone for making such a wonderful event take place for our guests!

You Provided a Home to David, Angel, and Steven!

Three former guests at Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission have found home together after meeting and becoming friends at the Mission.
At the Mission all three were determined to find their next steps after the Mission and started meeting with our Case Manager, Kelly. While they worked together to find a permanent home together, the three men began attending Sunday services at the Mission as their faith grew.
In January, David, Angel, and Steven moved into a three-bedroom home in Southwest Philadelphia. These unlikely friends now have a safe, affordable, and stable place to call
home because of your support. They have the stability of their own home and Christian community that supports them. Thank you!
