*Realize Your Beauty is a 501c3 organization that promotes positive body image and eating disorder awareness to youth through theatre arts. For all the misfits who felt they didn't belong at their own prom, or for those who want to relive the prom of their dreams- this evening will have it all! Delicious food, open bar, fancy mocktails, DJ, fun activities, amazing auction items, and live performances. There will still be corny 90's songs, only this time you'll be on the dance floor with your fellow misfits! (21+ event)  Your attendance will support self-esteem, positive body image, and arts education for youth! Facility Spotlight: Banyan Massachusetts Located in Wilmington, MA about an hour outside of Boston, Matt Ganem and his team help patients' reach their full potential to succeed in a healthy, sober lifestyle. The facility is known for its tight-knit family culture and their staff is very involved and motivated to help. Hear them talk about what it's like at Banyan Massachusetts. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his wife Lauren from the hit MTV show "Jersey Shore" are Recovery Advocates for Banyan Treatment Centers. Mike has completely changed his life around from the infamous partying days to now working the 12 step program and celebrating four years of sobriety on Christmas Eve 2019. His wife Lauren lost her brother to an overdose and both have experienced the first hand devastation of the deadly disease. Mike and Lauren continue to make a positive impact on communities struggling and they stop by to speak to the patients at various facilities nationwide. Firefighter and Paramedic, Speaker, Mental Health and Addiction Advocate for First Responders at Banyan Treatment Centers Jason Patton is a Mental Health and Addiction Advocate and Firefighter in South Florida. Jason helps lessen the stigma of people struggling with mental health disorders and substance use disorders through community outreach and speaking across the country in partnership with our nationwide addiction treatment centers. His wildly popular “Firefighter Chronicles” is a series of YouTube and Instagram videos featuring the day in the life of a First Responder. Jason helps represent CREW, Banyan's First Responder Programming in Florida, designed by First Responders. Banyan has a new Podcast! Tune in and listen to the first episode of The Banyan Podcast with Jon and Megan where they interview Brandon Novak. He is a skateboarder, an MTV celebrity, an alumnus of the Jackass motion picture series, a star of the legendary CKY skateboard video series, and an author.
