Call on Congress to Support Investments in SUD Treatment and Recovery Services
FacebookLinkedInTwitter
Contact your lawmakers today and urge them to cosponsor the Comprehensive Addiction Resources Emergency (CARE) Act (S.1365H.R.2569).

The bill provides state and local governments with $100 billion in federal funding over ten years to expand access to evidence-based treatment and recovery support services. The bill also recognizes the importance of workforce development by authorizing $500 million in workforce development funding for professionals treating substance use disorders.

NAADAC is proud to champion this legislation and was thrilled to support its introduction. We ask now that you help us advocate for the resources needed to build an SUD workforce that meets the demands of the crisis.

Help us provide thousands of meals this Thanksgiving season!

Dear Joseph,

There are more than 5,000 individuals experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia. Many have found refuge at Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, but there are others who have made the streets their home. This Thanksgiving, you can do your part to ensure that these homeless men and women receive a hearty meal!
With your help, we can help men like Francis. Francis had spent the last three Thanksgivings in prison after falling in with a bad crowd early in life. Sometimes people become trapped in their circumstances.
Francis remembers, "I was locked up before I came here to Sunday Breakfast. I came here to start a new life.Francis is young and still has his whole life ahead of him. Thank you for coming alongside Francis so that his life is not marked by the mistakes of the past. Francis shared with me that he has hope for his future, “Watch me, I will finish this program and graduate.”
This Thanksgiving, remember men and women like Francis who would go home if they could. You can make a huge impact in their lives by providing meals that just might restore hope for tomorrow!
The impact of your gift will last beyond Thanksgiving Day. A hot meal provides more than just a full stomach, it gives hope and restores dignity for someone in need.
Provide a hearty Thanksgiving meal for only $2.25 and make a significant impact in the lives of the less fortunate. How many meals will you provide?
Thank you for making this work possible on Thanksgiving Day and every other day of the year!

Yours in Christ's Service,
Jeremy Montgomery
President/CEO
