Michael Arcangeletti is the Director of Operations at Clearbrook Treatment Center, now part of the Banyan in Laurel Run, PA. Recently, the county saw a spike in overdose deaths and the area is grappling with what to do to curb the problem. Watch below as Michael shares his expertise on addiction and recovery with FOX56 reporters.

Communities Coming Together: The Resiliency Project is calling everyone to come out Saturday March 9th from 9am-12pm for the Kensington Community Celanup. Meet at Harrowgate Plaza, 3528 I St, Philadelphia, PA 19134. PRO-ACT's Amends in Action Committee will be participating, along with many other PRO-ACT Volunteers!

Family Workshop: This workshop is an open group family workshop for families(preferably with teenagers aged 13-19). Discussions surrounding communications skills, coping skills, and how to talk about the “serious” topics in a dynamic peer setting. We use an evidence-based curriculum, Triple P Positive Parenting Solutions. Parents participating will receive a certificate upon completion. There are 6 sessions per cycle (along with two phone sessions). Call for Applications: Apply for the 2019 NIDA Feedback Teams!


NIDA is looking for educators, teens, and parents to serve on three Feedback Teams.

NIDA for Teens: Advancing Addiction Science

Apply for the 2019 NIDA Feedback Teams!

Are you an educator, teen, or parent interested in sharing your thoughts and ideas about drugs and health directly with NIDA?

NIDA is forming Feedback Teams to obtain real-time feedback on various NIDA for Teens resources and initiatives. The Institute is looking for educatorsteens, and parents to serve on three Feedback Teams to offer insights on existing and new materials, and to share ideas about how NIDA can expand its reach to people who would benefit most from the information and resources that the Institute provides.

Who can apply?
  • Students currently enrolled in grades 6 to 10 from anywhere in the United States
  • Educators who currently teach or work directly with students in grades 6 to 12 in the United States
  • Parents and guardians of at least one child who is enrolled in grades 6 to 11 in the United States
How? 
Send an email to NIDAfeedbackteams@iqsolutions.com to request an application. Please specify whether you are interested in applying to the Educator, Teen, or Parent Feedback Team.Applications are due March 15, 2019.

What should I expect? 
NIDA Feedback Teams will meet virtually a maximum of four times between April 2019 and March 2020. Each online meeting will last about 1 hour. Selected participants will earn $25 for participating in each virtual meeting, and at the end of the year, they will receive a Certificate of Completion.

We encourage all those eligible to apply!
