January 7,2019 Through The Twelve Steps With Spiritual Truth From Scripture

January 7,2019 Through The Twelve Steps With Spiritual Truth  From Scripture

  1 John 3:15 NASB -  Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

Step 9 - 9. We made direct amends to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

Get it out of the way. Holding a grudge and pretending it doesn't matter is only hurting you in the long run. Getting clean means coming clean ! Carrying grudges and harboring regret will put you in a very stressful position and could put you at a greater risk for relapse. Clean House is essential for a successful recovery. Some you have hurt may not want anything to do with you and thats is going to hurt ,but you got to push through the hurt write that person a letter of apology get it to them and then let it go. A Heart full of fear, regret, shame, and hurt cannot heal and a broken heart can lead you back to old self destructing ways like self medicating to cope !

Ephesians 4:31-32  Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Psalm 103:3 Who pardons all your iniquities,Who heals all your diseases;
