This holiday season is a perfect time to reflect on our blessings and seek out ways to make life better for those around us
After struggling with heroin addiction for years, Alec came to Banyan as a patient in 2015. Now with more than three years sober he works on our National team, traveling the country and managing Banyan’s Electronic Medical Records systems. Hear how Alec went from Hopeless to Hopeful.
From Hopeless to Hopeful: Meet Alec, National Health Information Officer at Banyan Treatment Center
Check out Banyan representative Jordan Meyers in the #VoicesProject, produced by Ryan Hampton. Jordan joins us in the fight against addiction, as he shares his personal story of hope and recovery. Having been in the music business for many years, Jordan's goal is to reach anyone who may be struggling, and has been involved with initiatives that include bringing sober zones to music festivals across the country. Watch below.

Jodi Bowls
Born and raised primarily in Utah, Jodi has fought her own personal battle with addiction. After seeking help from numerous treatment centers, Jodi finally made a sincere decision to make a change within herself and surrendered to her addiction on May 27, 2002.
With a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting, Jodi began working in the addiction field 7 years ago in Client Finances and Insurance Billing. She has also held positions in Admissions and Business Development, giving her a vast understanding and knowledge of this industry. Although Jodi’s passion to work in the treatment field was initially driven by her own personal hardships, her desire and commitment has evolved over the years, as new opportunities presented themselves. While employed with a different company, Jodi had the privilege of working with many individuals, most of which suffered from mental health disorders, such as schizophrenia. This experience gave her a newfound level of compassion, inspiring her to work harder every day, both on herself and for the patient. As the newest member of our Business Development team on the West Coast, Jodi looks forward to reaching more people in need and providing effective treatment solutions for mental health and substance abuse patients.
Evan Dillon
Evan comes to us from Northern New Mexico, where he was born and raised. Like much of our team, Evan has a passion and commitment to helping those struggling with substance abuse, because he too has fought his own battles of addiction. His story began in college, where his drinking quickly crossed the line and progressed into addiction. After suffering a back injury, Evan was prescribed opioids, at which point he tells us his addiction escalated. In December of 2012, after feeling hopeless and alone, Evan picked up the phone and asked for help. Although he had several prior treatment experiences, this was the first time he was asking for help on his own. He hasn’t had a drink or drug since that day. Evan understands firsthand just how difficult it is to ask for help, that is why he is so passionate about his work. With 5 years of experience working in the substance abuse treatment industry, Evan is a proud addition to the Banyan family.
