🍎 Guest Q&A: Yoga, Meditation & Dharma in Recovery

Cole Chance is our resident spiritual Coach here at Sobriety Engine. However, what you may not know about her is that she's battled addiction herself.
She's here to tell her story, talk about Yoga, meditation, and more.
Join us for TONIGHT at 7 PM EST to discuss:
- How Cole overcame addiction and traveled the world
- Benefits of Yoga in addiction recovery
- How we can learn to become more mindful in a chaotic world
- Simple Yoga postures we can do at home to begin our practice
Have questions for Cole about Yoga, Meditation, recovery, or her story?
Priority will be given to questions submitted ahead of time. Use the comment section on the event page for your question. If we have time leftover after answering those, we'll take live questions as well.

More About Cole:
Cole has been a seeker all her life. It has brought her into the depths of addiction, to all corners of the world, and most importantly the path of yoga. Through this practice, she has begun to understand, unravel, and explore the most fascinating of all landscapes... the inner one. She encourages her students to always internally inquire with kindness, outwardly move with curiosity, and always leave space for all the unknown possibilities.
Cole hails from ATX, is currently based between Bali and Australia, teaches online, and leads international retreats.

Back-to-School Drive Starts Today

CITYTEAM. Igniting Hope. Restoring Lives.

Today we officially kick off our annual Back-to-School Drive. For years, we’ve been helping kids in our community get the essential supplies they need for the school year. This year is no different.

As with everyone, we have had to evaluate new requirements and adapt our programs. Whether students are going back to their classrooms, or starting the new school year at home, we are committed to helping provide backpacks and school supplies for hundreds of students by Aug 7 in time for the new school year.

Two Ways You Can Make A Difference this Summer

You'll find the main ways to help listed below to provide for a student in need. With your help, and help from others, we can ensure that we have enough backpacks filled with school supplies for the students in our community who need them most.

1. Donate

Make a gift to support the Back-to-School Drive. It’s been a challenging time for students in our community -- particularly low-income families who are facing devastating economic hardship who are struggling to even provide food and pay rent. During these challenging times, a brand new backpack can serve as a symbol of hope. Plus, new, unused school supplies can bring renewed excitement for learning. Let's brighten futures and enable lasting solutions together. You can make a gift here or the link below.

2. Organize a (Virtual) Drive

You can host an virtual Backpack Drive to get your church, coworkers, or friends and family involved. Since we cannot gather in large groups at this time, we won’t be doing our traditional backpack build where people come help pack-up all the backpacks with supplies. However, you can still share the link so others can help sponsor backpacks filled with school supplies from the comfort of home.

There’s strength in community. We are so grateful for your support and ensuring that children and families get the help needed to thrive.

With thanks and deep appreciation,

Kwinn Tucker
