Nationwide Essay Contest Challenges High Schoolers to Speak Up About Mental Health

The National Institutes of Health is inviting students ages 16 to 18 years old to participate in the “Speaking Up About Mental Health!” essay contest. Essays should explore ways to address the stigma and social barriers that adolescents from racial and ethnic minority populations may face when seeking mental health treatment. Every Wednesday Shipley's Do-Nuts makes several of its delicious pastries available to the Shepura Men's Center, but we need a volunteer to deliver these wonderful treats!

We are looking for a reliable group or individual to pick up the do-nuts up between 6:30-7 p.m. every Wednesday evening and drop them off at our center.
