Hello friends,

THE ADDICT’S MOM is getting closer to our Community Days coupon booklet sales goal, so I wanted to send one last update.

As you know, the coupon booklets are only $5 each. And 100% of the proceeds will be dedicated to funding to help further our mission. And that’s where you come in.

YOU GET A COUPON BOOKLET—JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
When you purchase a Community Days coupon booklet you’ll enjoy a shopping pass for up to 30% off you can use during the entire sale event—as many times as you like. Plus, your coupon booklet will include a $10 off coupon to use storewide, plus additional pages filled with coupons for apparel and home items just in time for your holiday shopping list.

The Community Days sale event begins on Wednesday, November 8 and runs through Saturday, November 11.

We are reaching the end of this fundraising effort, and we only need to sell 100 more coupon booklets to reach our goal.

So this is the last email we’ll be sending you. That means it’s your final chance to get a Community Days coupon booklet from us just in time for your holiday shopping. They’re only $5, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly toward supporting a mission that touches the heart of YOUR community.

To purchase your coupon booklet today and help make a difference, simply visit our website at http://bit.ly/2icexuV. The deadline to purchase coupon booklets online is Wednesday, November 1. So don’t miss out!

From all of us at THE ADDICT’S MOM, thank you for joining us on this fundraising journey and for contributing to our mission through the purchase of your coupon booklet. Happy shopping!

Sincerely,

Barbara Theodosiou,
Founder The Addict’s Mom

10-27-17 TWELVE STEPPING WITH SUPPORT FROM SCRIPTURE

Psalm 31 v 4 -Pull me from the trap my enemies(addiction) set for me, for I find protection in you alone.

enemy- a thing that harms or weakens something else.

Step 6: Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

There are many who will do anything to see you fall. Jealousy is a devastating character defect that can ruin lives. Why is it when someone is doing well we become angry and think they don't deserve the good life.Somehow we have this thinking that this is a kill or be killed society and unfortunately in some cases that is true. This mindset in the long run only hurts the one being jealous and malicious.Maturity comes in recovery when we can find joy in others successes and not failures.God is our only true dependable source of hope and ever-present help in times of trouble! There will be those who will try and make us fail but you have God in your corner and with Him your unstoppable.

Psalm 34 v19 -The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.

TAM would like to capitalize on all of the recent attention given to the opioid epidemic, including the possible coming of a declaration of national emergency, the nomination of a permanent "drug czar" and other stories highlighting affected families.

We have worked with other advocacy groups to form an official position statement of TAM, to be sent to the President and other elected officials in Washington DC.

If you desire, we are asking members to mail a copy of the letter, along with your personal story, to each of the listed officials at the given address. The impact of these officials receiving perhaps thousands of letters within a short time frame cannot be overstated.

You should also send a copy to your own Representative & Senator.

Please be sure to sign your letter and include contact information for any follow-up correspondence.
