"B   efore I arrived at Narconon New Life Retreat, my life was a wreck. Every bad decision I could have made, I made it. Every wrong path I could have chosen, I chose it. I was in a very dark place and I was miserable. I had been to jail many times and in several different institutions.
I was on any drug I could get my hands on and every time things would start going well for me, I would jump off the deep end and mess it all up. The decisions I made almost cost me my life. I overdosed several times and had a near fatal car wreck running from the police.
“I remember waking up after the wreck in the hospital after having two spinal fusions not even knowing how I was still alive. I remember my family telling me they had been waiting to get a call saying I was dead. Looking back on it now, the wreck changed my life for the better because my family found Narconon. When I arrived for addiction treatment, I had 30 staples in my back. I weighed 130 pounds and was completely broken down.

I was skeptical at first but I was willing to do whatever it took to get my life back on track.
It was then I noticed something that blew my mind, I saw how much the staff members at Narconon New Life Retreat actually cared about each student on the program. It felt good not only to relate to them but also to meet 20 other people similar to me.

“The Narconon program literally saved my life. I now weigh 170 pounds and feel better than I ever have. It helped me realize I can be successful and I do have a purpose in my life. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to do the Narconon program and to learn the tools I need to stay clean and sober. I am on track to stay drug-free for good and also to have a life my family and I can be proud of.”
