Clyde Bertram was colorful, outspoken and most of all, effective. Any counselor of some duration had a Clyde story, usually involving how he surprised young patients with what an old fella could teach them about life and recovery. Clyde passed in early January. He'd joined Livengrin in 1993, and retired from full-time counseling in 2008 - at the age of 88. But Livengrin remained a part of his life, and he was here every weekend to greet patients and families.
